ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME-
My name is Steven James Parrott and I'm a sentimental jewellery specialist based in Portsmouth UK.
I believe that jewellery is far more than just a fashion statement, it can be a connection to memories, a memorable gift of appreciation or a strong identity statement that can be worn with pride. And unlike mass produced jewellery, with custom designs you can personalise them to your specific needs.
From weddings, milestone events and celebrations or 'just because', each piece is individually handcrafted to your style and sentimental requirements, making it truly one-of-a-kind.
HOW MY JEWELLERY JOURNEY BEGAN-
My jewellery business started as a 'labour of love project' for myself due to a passion for sentimental jewellery, creativity and a love for creating meaningful and sentimental pieces.
I worked in engineering and I would always design jewellery pieces as a hobby, and this would be done alongside my full time job.
One day a family friend asked me to make them a memorial ring after seeing one I had made for myself, so together we designed a bespoke ring, I custom made it from my bedroom with very basic tools.
Our family friend was over the moon with it, and it received such a hugely positive response, that I started to receive even more requests. I trained as hard a I could to learn the skill of silversmithing and developed my skills and expertise with lots of practice to become a jeweller.
I also discovered a passion for reinventing jewellery when I took some sentimental gold that belonged to my fiancé Sabrina and created a ring from it which also sparked huge interest and my journey into reinvention jewellery began.

This all gave me the opportunity to leave my job and dedicate myself fully to making jewellery as a career.
